Staying safe online if you are experiencing domestic abuse

If you are in an abusive relationship then technology is one way in which your abuser may try to control you. We give away a tremendous amount of information about ourselves, our location, our plans and our friends through social media. If you are part of a family group (through mobile phones) then it may be possible that your exact location is detectable at all times unless you disable that function. 

Abusers often use cybersafe to continue their abuse and it's important to know how to protect yourself.

If you leave want to leave an abusive partner, it's important to know what steps to take to protect yourself online, as well as in the real world.
